Sensirion has introduced its next-generation automotive-grade digital temperature sensor series, STS4xA, designed to meet the stringent reliability requirements of the automotive industry. The flagship model, STS41A, is offered in a wettable flanks package that supports Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) processes. In addition, its integrated on-board heater enables advanced On-Board Diagnostics (OBD) functionality.
Built on Sensirion’s CMOSens® Technology and decades of expertise in temperature sensing, this sensor platform leverages the company’s proven engineering heritage.
Offering a cost-effective solution, the STS4xA series supports a wide supply voltage range from 1.08 V to 3.6 V via an I²C interface. Thanks to its compact form factor and four-pin dual-flat no-leads (DFN) package, it can be easily integrated into a wide range of automotive applications.
Developed in compliance with automotive standards, the series successfully meets demanding reliability requirements, including 85°C/85%RH accelerated lifetime testing and AEC-Q100 qualification.
