The AI-powered Internet of Things (AIoT) platform Tiremo, developed by the R&D team at Empa Elektronik, has been accepted for presentation at the 10th International Conference on Computer Science and Engineering (UBMK 2025).
The platform will be introduced through the paper titled “Tiremo: An End-to-End AIoT System Design to Enable Intelligence Over Connectivity.” While Tiremo continues to be developed by Empa Elektronik, its core features and original system architecture will be shared with the academic community through this presentation.
The conference will be held between September 17–19, 2025, hosted by Istanbul Technical University.
An End-to-End AIoT Platform
Tiremo is an integrated solution platform designed to securely, efficiently, and rapidly process data generated by the growing number of smart devices and sensors in today’s connected environments. By bringing together device management, data analytics, and AI-driven decision mechanisms within a single platform, Tiremo delivers end-to-end solutions for enterprises. This unified approach enables organizations to deploy secure and scalable IoT projects under one roof, without the need for multiple disparate tools.
The platform’s success in its early development stages has been demonstrated through field tests and pilot customer deployments. With Tiremo, businesses have been able to reduce operational costs via IoT-based monitoring and control, predictive maintenance, classification of device failures, and detection of hard-to-predict conditions.
Currently developed with a strong focus on sensor-based applications, Tiremo is planned to be further enhanced with computer vision capabilities, compatibility with a wider range of sensors, and more advanced automated decision-making mechanisms, enabling adoption across a much broader set of use cases in the future.
